We are doing EV Conversions now!

We have a shop in Berkeley / El Cerrito, CA for doing EV conversion.

We are now doing conversion projects using 144V Series DC motors and Trojan T-1275 batteries.

We are now converting a 2000 VW Passat using 144V Series DC Motor.

Converting a 1990s Toyota Corolla using the 144V DC motor and 15 T-1275 batteries provides a range of 50 miles and the vehicle can travel on city streets or highways. The average conversion price for the above vehicle is under $10K. We would like to discuss your conversion objectives. Please contact us.

Sensors

The autonomous electric vehicles use sensors to gather information about the road and the envionment. The environment sensors are grouped into three categories based on the sensing technology. They are radar, ladar, and video.

We use Delphi’s ESR radar operating in the 77 GHz band.

We use SICK LMS 291 ladars

We use Sony’s HDR-SR1 video cameras and Sony’s HDR-CX12

Welcome to Autonomous EV

We are developing basic technologies and software for autonomous electric vehicles that can be used in the following applications:

  • Transportation on demand – anytime, many places
  • Autonomous freight movement in ports, warehouses, airports, depots – lowers cost and reduces accidents
  • Autonomous loading and unloading – forklifts
  • Support for senior citizens and handicapped people
  • Waste management facilities – collecting, compacting, loading, and moving to ships or containers.
  • Hazardous material handling and moving – chemical plants, power plants, and factories
  • Fire control and management
  • Emergency response systems
  • Disaster relief supply systems
  • Search and rescue systems

We are interested in partnering with electric motor and controller makers, sensor developers, and investors to develop and commercialize the above systems.
